Frog Atlas of Southern Africa

Record details

   [ Record 10 of 240 ]
FrogMAP:   1947
Province:
Country:   Zimbabwe
Locus:   1725DD
Observer:   Kennedy D.; Additional photos by Tina Kennedy, Sam Kennedy
Date of record:   2012-04-16
Number of photos:   1
Notes:   Round-spotted variant. Note: All the following frogs were cohabiting in a small garden pond in the grounds of Victoria Falls Hotel. They corresponded neither to my Delta frog observations, nor to those found in the Savuti River. Although all save one grey psecies were similar, they differed quite noticeably, so I have tried to show the different variants. I have used Hyperolius rhodesianus for these frogs, but this is only a best guess.
