Notes:   Afrixalus wittei; De Witte's Spiny Reed Frog (although a number of Afrixalus have a very similar dorsal pattern). Spiny Reed Fogs are also called Leaf-folding Frogs as they fold leaves and conceal their eggs inside. Afrixalus can be?identified as follows: (a) small spines on the back, (b) diamond-shaped pupil, (iii) enlarged toe tips, and usually up on reeds, bushes etc.
