Comment:   Mertensophryne loveridgei -- Geographically and from a habitat point of view, M. loveridgei would make a lot more sense. Also, the picture featured in Farooq et al. 2015 looks like a M. loveridgei rather than M. anotis, and it's hard to confirm species attribution without a phylogenetic tree.

Comment:   The northern Mozambique records is still debatable. The genetics between M. anotis and M. loveridgei is very low and this population is in the middle. We working on it at the moment.
