Notes:   I thought I was photographing a Karoo Prinia. It was only on downloading to the computer that I saw the Sprite. Two points of interest: I would have thought this an unusual prey item for this bird; and I know of no fresh water anywhere in the vicinity. Comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Comment:   There are many Odonata eating birds. The Karoo Prinia's diet includes insects. Adult Odonata are often found some distance from water.
