mixed colony of cape weavers including thickbill & red bishop birds. many nests old & new. birds in attendance. note colour - very rich red- needed to check species - shall return to get clear pictures. Large colony more than 20 nests and many more throughout extensive reedbeds and on trees. They were already breeding - The first few nests I inspected had no eggs - then I found many nests with
eggs deeper in the reed beds.
