ReptileMAP:   152583
Province:   Northern Cape
Country:   South Africa
Locus:   2918CD
Observer:   Sharp A; T. Anderson
Date of record:   2014-09-21
Number of photos:   3
Notes:   Included a locality shot as this does not seem to be the usual type locality for these H. signatus signatus. Saw only the one live specimen but also found 5 shells under the telephone poles of specimens eaten by raptors. This was the only reason we knew to look for these here. Found alongside population of P. tentorius veroxii. Specimen was resting under a rock. no large rocky outcrop close by.
