Notes:   We found this poor little guy marooned in full sun on a baking-hot stepping stone in the middle of a flowing stream. No idea how he got there. The tip of its tail was missing. At first we thought it dead, but it was still alive, although weak and very thin. We placed it in the riverside trees where it appeared to recover.
