Comment:   Unclear photo, but the short snout, triangular head and almost uniformly black colour give it the impression of Bitis harenna.

Comment:   The head is too narrow, the eye too far forward and the body too slender for Bitis harenna. The patterning, which is faintly visible, doesn't match Echis pyramidum either, but does fit P. gascae.
