Notes:   Jacobsen 1989: The distribution and conservation status of reptiles and amphibians in the Transvaal. Note Identified as L. capensis capensis by Jacobsen (1989) but changed to L. bradfieldi by M.F. Bates (pers. comm., 2011). Jacobsen (2011) mentioned that the two forms “occur sympatrically in some areas” and it is believed that this specimen should be referable to the latter, not the former.
