Observer:   Vos P.
Date of record:   2007-07-20
Number of photos:   3
Notes:   3 pm; sunny & warm. Fine male (presumably) Boomslang (about 1;5m) stuck his head out of terrace roof then basked for half an hour in the bougainvillea/barleria bush. Alert & nervous - when tried to sneak up for better shot; made side-to-side head movements typical of Green Snakes; then flowed quickly back under tiles. Seems to have settled in - stuck head out next days. No sign of usual over-wintering Spotted Bush Snake family since he appeared. Hope he hasn`t eaten them!?
