:   7174
Province:   Western Cape
Country:   South Africa
Locus:   3422BB
Observer:   Kennedy David
Date of record:   1999-04-03
Number of photos:   1
Notes:   This young cobra was right down on the lower edge of a broad sandy beach, right where the seawater was hissing over the sand. I lifted it using a couple of fishing rods, and deposited it in the scrub at the back of the beach. I have no idea why it had been so close to the water.
