Comment:   Sylvicapra grimmia splendidula - This subspecie has an ochre colouration, which would explain why yours is more red in colour. S. c. splendidula is one of the 14 subspecies currently recognized. What makes it difficult is that with many the exact boundaries of subspecie change over isn't very clear, yours here tends to be west of the Luangwa River, and is replaced by S.c. orbicularis, which is east of the same river.
