Comment number:   1
By:   Les Underhill
Comment:   ID by Peter Taylor, Paul Werbala, and David Jacobs. DJ - "The bat is Lavia frons and is a member of the false vampire family Emballonuridae. Paul and I haves seen this bat in western/central Kenya and it has been recorded in Tanzania apparently preferring tropical savannas. Paul do you know if it has been recorded in coastal regions before?" PT - "I agree - definitely Lavia frons. But the family is Megadermatidae not Emballanuridae."
