   [ Record 2 of 250 ]
MammalMAP:   1098
Province:   North West
Country:   South Africa
Locus:   2526BB
Observer:   Kennedy David
Date of record:   2009-08-05
Number of photos:   1
Notes:   Photographed north of the Park boundary, near the Black Rhino Lodge. Shortly after this photo was taken this lioness and a couple of others brought down a wildebeest in the long grass to the north of us. In response to the commotion, a large male, possibly the one I posted earlier, came running from the direction in which the photo-subject had been lying and seized the kill from the lionesses, who had to wait their turn.
