Comment:   Interesting how this tropical bat from central Africa shows up every now and again in the Northern Cape and Free State, of all places. It looks like it may have been feeding on Melia azedarach berries, but finding it in this tree is perhaps coincidental. Would be good if the specimen was lodged at a museum.
