Notes:   Sorry, I omitted all the details for this first pic in the previous posting. Taken very early in the morning, mother and 1 cub can be seen at the far corner of the pool. She was about to leave them to go hunting, so she came across to the verandah and urinated against the wall (second photograph). This may have been scent-marking because she felt that the verandah was her property, or it may have protective, in that the smell of leopard might deter creatures which might harm the cubs. Once she had gone, the cubs carried on with their madcap games, leaving a nice set of pawprints all over the lounger. They would also pinch cushions, pull the covers off them, and carry the covers up a tree, much as an adult would hoist an impala kill up a tree. These cubs were about three months old at time of photographing.
