Dr Ara Monajem to Kate Braun... "free-tailed bat (Molossidae) - you can see the "free" tail clearly. What distinguishes Tadarida from Mops or Chaerephon are the attachment of the ears. The two ears do not actually connect, but instead are separately by a very narrow furrow. This is Tadarida aegyptiaca." |
