Comment:   This species is known only from the Limpopo River area, from Lanner Gorge in the Kruger National Park, to Mapungubwe and Venetia Reserves in the north western part of Limpopo province. it is very similar to A. annulatus - a common Kalahari endemic. Larvae are presently unknown, but will probably also live freely in Kalahari sand. A first for the VM - thanks!
