This species is widespread in Africa, from South Africa to Kenya and Guinea-Bissau. In SA, it is known from Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, KZN and Eastern Cape. The larvae are freeliving on vegetation, and feed on small soft-bodied Homoptera such as aphids and scale insects. |
