Notes:   We watched these darting in and out of rock crevices. They would hesitantly move out in to the open and would alternate between raising their heads or lying completely flat. Any sign of danger, and they would dart of to the closest crack or rock overhang. It was amazing to see the narrow gaps these lizards could fit in between, some of which were slightly less than 5mm gaps of weathered or etched rock slats.
