Probably Nemeura tipularia, which appears to be endemic to Namibia. it is very similar to N. glauningi from South Africa, but the ranges of the two species do not overlap. It flies in October, and is readily attracted to light. Nothing is known about its biology. This family of lacewings is well represented in the south western parts of SA, but very few species occur beyond the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape Provinces of SA. |
