Comment:   . This is the most commonly encountered species of Proctarrelabis, which is widespread in eastern and northern South Africa, from Grahamstown to northern KZN, extending to Gauteng (Pretoria) and into Zimbabwe. The well camouflaged larvae live on branches, where they are “sit and wait” predators.
