Comment:   This species is fairly widespread, known from Angola, Namibia, Botswana, SA, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Characterized by the hirsute (hairy) thorax and legs, and narrow wing bases. This picture show the typical pheromone-emitting posture. Biology and larvae unknown, except that is one of the earliest fliers – late winter to early spring.
