Combination of unstreaked (pale-brown) crown, obvious black lores and rufous flanks point to Pale-crowned Cisticola, rather than Zitting Cisticola. Compare with similar-looking Desert Cisticola, which has paler flanks and less obvious black lores. Excellent photo record for the Locus! |
