Comment:   This species extends from Namibia (Grootfontein area) southwards through the Western Cape, across to the Eastern Cape Steynsburg, Karoo National Park). So is widespread in the drier western parts of southern Africa. The prothoracic pattern and spotting on the wings is characteristic. Larvae unknown.
