Feedback from Trevor Hardaker on 15 August 2017: the bird in the photo is an immature Grey-headed Gull. You can still see some of the juvenile feathers on the back of this bird. There is no indication of the white outer primaries in the folded wing as one would expect to see in a Black-headed Gull |
