Notes:   This is the largest subspecies of Common Wildebeest (Connochaetes taurinus) group, it is a lighter colouration, black beard and in certain individuals has pronounced white chevrons below the eyes or pale stripes - but not present in all individuals in particular the Tanzania individuals.
