This tree pangolin record makes for a major range extension to the south-east. In Zambia it has recently been recorded from Mwinilunga and Solwezi in the north-west. This record is east of the Congo pedicle. The animal drowned in an irrigation dam. Locals reported them to be fairly common in miombo woodland in the hills in the surrounding area. |
