Cuculus rochii
This summer visitor was seen at Kranspoortdorp since at least 13 October 2022. We were out of town and only able to visit the site on 11 November. It was quite static in this general area although it has moved around to different trees; it was calling very often. Very tolerant with human presence although we didn't approach it for close-up shots. Most of our photos were taken at 20 to 30 meters. |
