Unstreaked throat and yellowish underparts resemble Drakensberg Prinia, but bold and blotchy streaking extending to the lower belly and flanks resemble Karoo Prinia. Unusual to have a hybrid in this area (way north of the distribution range of Karoo Prinia) - spreading of genes among the Drakensberg Prinias? |
