Province:   KwaZulu-Natal
Country:   South Africa
Locus:   3030CD
Observer:   Steen Lia
Date of record:   2011-06-14
Number of photos:   2
Notes:   This bird was trying to get scraps off the elastic used to wrap bait, which was stuck in the beach sand. The bird looked tired and stayed there for a length of time, not perturbed that I was so close. No other terns where close-by. The danger of the bird being killed by rubbish from anglers!
