Notes:   It is a brave birder who lays his head on a block about Eastern Long-billed Lark at MZNP. Every time someone posts it on public media there is a lively debate. It comes down to interpretations of bill length and strength, greyness of the nape and how much streaking there is on the breast. The Eastern Long-billed records in MZNP outstrip those of Karoo but there are a significant number of Karoo records.

Comment number:   1

Comment:   Unsure about this one: the bill looks too long for Eastern Long-billed Lark, the flanks are streaked and the nape is paler than the mantle and wings. I'm leaning towards Karoo Long-billed Lark but could well be wrong.
