Comment:   This is a species of Nemia, probably N. karrooa. This genus of arrow-winged lacewings is known only from the Western and Northern Cape Provinces and southern Namibia where it is fairly widespread - although some species are localized. They are characteristically yellow with brown abdominal stripes, with a prominent pterostigma. Strongly attracted to light. Larvae are thought to live freely in sand.
