Comment:   Possibly D. transvaaliensis, but not sure. Not a Melambrotus. Fairly widespread in the northern areas of SA: Gauteng, Limpopo, KNZ, North West, Mpumalanga. Extends to Malawi Nothing id known about its biology or immature stages., Swaziland, Zimbabwe.
