Comment:   In South Africa, this species is confined to the Northern and Western Cape provinces. It is widespread throughout Namibia, extending into Angola. It appears to be confined to the drier areas, so is a typical western element of the SA antlion fauna. It is characterized by extremely long labial palps that distinguish the species from the other Palparinae. Larvae are unknown. This is a first for the LacewingMap project – thanks.
