This species is widespread over the Afrotropical Region from Sierra Leone to Madagascar and the Comores and Mascarene islands. It is a Pan African species, also recorded from the Oriental and Australasian Regions. Known from all provinces of SA. C. congrua has two colour morphs, a pale yellowish brown form (as in picture)and a pale green variant which seems to vary with season, depending on the colour of grass at certain times of the year. |
