Comment:   This species of ribbon-winged lacewings (family Nemopteridae) is fairly widespread in the northern provinces of SA, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North-West. It also occurs in several other African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania and Kenya. It flies in October, and is readily attracted to light. Nothing is known about its biology. This family of lacewings is well represented in the south western parts of SA, but very few species occur beyond the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape Provinces of SA.
