Comment:   This species is a South African endemic, known only from the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Free State provinces. It is characterized by the long male ectoprocts. It normally rests well camouflaged on bark, and is readily attracted to light. Nothing is known of its immature stages, but the larvae probably live freely in sand.
