Comment:   A species of Cueta, possibly C. tyrivirgata. Common and widespread in southern Africa and easily be confused with other Cueta species. The pit-building larvae occur in hard soil in completely exposed situations. All Cueta larvae are pinkish in colour, and are impossible to distinguish from one another.
