Comment:   This is an undescribed species of Creoleon, which is widespread in the western parts of SA. The genus Creoleon is fairly large and widespread through the Afrotropical and Palaearctic Regions. There are several species that inhabit SA, many as yet undescribed. Creoleon larvae live freely in sand and do not make pits.
