Comment:   Fairly common and widespread in the northern provinces of SA, extending into east and Central Africa. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, DRC. Rather similar to P. sobrinus. Usually occurs in grassy areas. Immature stages unknown.
