Notes:   A very warm day, These guys were all at the base of a young white stinkwood, there were 5 of them there seemed to be light and dark ones. They had ants crawling all over them with no bad effects.There appeared to be a lot of scales or bumps on the bark.and it was about two inches away from an ants nest.
