Comment:   It is hard to tell exactly what it is, but I would guess it is a C.jasius/C.castor pupa. C.brutus normally have brown spots but it could also be a C.phaeus, C.vansoni or even C.jahlusa pupa. The relative size and the near-by trees would help.
