Notes:   The platannas were observed in the Deeplan area (west of De Brug), and was observed on a strech of road from the Petrusburg tarred road to near the farm house (Meriba) - about 3.7 km. They were also observed on tarred road (near Leeupan) and losts were killed by cars! Observed jumping in the gravel road in direction of the pan (06:30 the morning). Judging on the puddles in the road, the area get some rain earlier during the week (in Bloemfontein it rained about 3 mm during a shower).
